Most people use AI like a calculator.
They ask it a question, get an answer, then move on underwhelmed.
That’s like hiring a full-time staff member… and only using them to fetch coffee.
The problem?
They’re using AI.
They’re not working with it.
Big difference.
Here’s how to close that gap:
1. Let AI Ask You Questions
Flip the script.
Instead of just asking it things, get it to interview you.
Let it poke holes in your business, challenge your ideas, or help you clarify your goals.
This builds clarity, and clarity creates better execution.
2. Treat AI Like a Teammate, Not a Tool
This is a mindset shift.
AI isn’t just “something you use”, it’s “someone you work with.”
Give it your thoughts, context, and direction like you would a junior partner.

The best outputs come when you feed it your own insights:
- your frameworks
- your stories
- your client wins
- your unique voice AI is a mirror.
If you feed it bland, you get bland.
If you feed it gold, it gives you Bitcoin (where my crypto fans at?).
Using AI like this unlocks more than productivity, it gives you strategic altitude.
Once AI handles the weeds, you’re free to zoom out.
