And he’s not alone. Meta has now poached 16 AI researchers from Apple, Google, OpenAI and Anthropic.
One created ChatGPT. Another helped invent the tech that lets AI “see”. Even Apple’s Head of AI jumped ship.
Why?
Because AI is the next internet. And every smart company knows it.
1. The best bet is talent
Zuckerberg literally has a “secret list” of top AI minds and is recruiting them via group chat like a fantasy football draft.
Why?
Because whoever uses AI best, wins.
Meta knows it.
Smart small businesses will too.
The game is simple:
- Use AI for what machines do best.
- Free up your people for what only humans can do.
2. If you don’t have an AI strategy, you’re already behind
Apple lost the guy running its entire AI division.
Not because he hated the job, but because Apple leadership fumbled its internal direction.
